The Three 6 Mafia rapper appeared in court on Wednesday (Apr. 29) and plead guilty to misdemeanor drug possession. Two weeks ago, CB was walking in a Las Vegas intersection when he was stopped by cops for walking during a “do not cross light.” Upon searching the 40-year old MC, cops discovered meth. In response to the bust, Crunchy said, “Oh damn. I was trying to buy that powder, not meth.”

The Memphis native was sentence to 30 days in prison for the drugs. An additional six months were added to his sentence for domestic violence charges in Minnesota. Black was arrested for allegedly beating his fiancée in a Minnesota hotel room back in March. Cops apparently found blood residue on the hotel bedroom, as well as, the door frame. Crunchy Black allegedly left his fiancée with several facial injuries. CB was charged with two felony counts of domestic violence but skipped out on his November court hearing. He will be serving the seven-month sentence consecutively.

Crunchy Black along with Three 6 Mafia became the first hip hop group to win an Oscar for Best Original Song and the first hip hop artists to perform at the ceremony.
